About Denise Ford
Denise is a Certified Nutrition Consultant and graduate of Bauman College Holistic Nutrition and Culinary Arts. In addition, she is a Certified Personal Trainer from the American Council on Exercise (ACE). During consultations, clients learn practical tools and skills that help to free them from unhealthy eating habits, with the end goals being a healthier relationship with food, eating and body, as well as permanent, sustainable health changes.
Denise recently became a Licensed Am I Hungry?®Workshop Facilitator and conducts Mindful Eating workshops throughout the year. The Am I Hungry?® Mindful Eating Workshops were founded by Michelle May, M.D., as a positive solution to chronic, ineffective yo-yo dieting. Studying with the Institute for the Psychology of Eating, Denise completed a 5 month professional training program focused on dynamic eating psychology and mind-body nutrition counseling in June of 2010.
Denise is an avid cyclist and is married to a competitive cyclist, walks daily with her dog Ginger, and spends as much time in her kitchen as she can, cooking for family and friends.
